Seymour Wright is a British saxophonist from the surrounding of the legendary improvisational ensemble AMM. Paul Abbott is first and foremost a drummer and is also mainly to be found in the UK’s Free Improv scene. What will happen when the two meet the US creator of the extreme house music genre footwork, you cannot even start to imagine. When DJs and electronic producers like Jeff Mills or Actress mingle with classical orchestras it often seems laboured. In contrast, RP Boo’s trio idea is pleasantly rustic and grounded.
